Return Policy
At SKM Pro Bike Shop, we want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If something is not right, we are here to help. Please review the policy below for details on returns, exchanges, and refunds.
Return Window
You may return eligible items within 30 days of the delivery date. Returns requested after 30 days will not be accepted.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for a return, items must be:
- Unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition you received them
- In the original packaging with all tags, manuals, and accessories included
- Free of damage, wear, scratches, or signs of installation
We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions or to issue a partial refund for items returned in less-than-original condition.
Non-Returnable Items
For safety, hygiene, and product integrity reasons, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned:
- Helmets, mouthguards, and protective gear (once removed from packaging)
- Custom-built bikes and custom orders
- Special-order parts
- Items that have "Non-returnable" in the product listing, right above the price
- Items marked "Final Sale" or "Clearance"
- Items damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or normal wear and tear
Final sale items are clearly marked at the time of purchase and are not eligible for return, exchange, refund, or store credit under any circumstances.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please email us at support@skmprobikeshop.com with the following information:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for the return
- Photos of the item, if applicable
Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions and a return shipping address. Please do not ship items back without prior authorization, as unauthorized returns may not be processed.
Proof of Purchase
A valid order number or proof of purchase is required for all returns and exchanges. Returns submitted without proof of purchase may be denied or processed at our discretion.
Return Shipping
- Customer-initiated returns (change of mind, wrong size, no longer needed): The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: SKM Pro Bike Shop will cover return shipping costs and replace or refund the item at no additional charge.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance for items of value. We are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days of approval.
- Depending on your bank or credit card company, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.
Refund Method
All approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different payment method, account, or card. If the original payment method is no longer active, please contact us at support@skmprobikeshop.com so we can determine the appropriate resolution.
Chargebacks and Disputes
If you have a concern about a charge or transaction, please contact us at support@skmprobikeshop.com before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to working with our customers to resolve issues quickly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with us may result in delays, account suspension, or further action.
Exchanges
We are happy to process exchanges for items of equal value, subject to availability. If the item you want is no longer in stock, we will issue a refund instead. To request an exchange, follow the same process listed under "How to Start a Return" and indicate the item you would like in its place.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or includes the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@skmprobikeshop.com with:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
We will work quickly to make it right with a replacement, exchange, or full refund, including shipping costs.
Manufacturer Warranties
Some products are covered by a manufacturer warranty. If a defect arises outside our 30-day return window, we will help direct you to the manufacturer for warranty service. Warranty terms and timelines vary by brand and product.
International Returns
International customers are welcome to return eligible items under the same conditions listed above. Please note:
- The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs, customs duties, and fees.
- Original shipping charges, customs duties, and import taxes paid on the original order are non-refundable.
- Returns can take 2 to 6 weeks to arrive and be processed depending on the country of origin.
Refused or Undeliverable Shipments
If a package is refused at delivery or returned to us due to an incorrect address or failure to claim it, the customer is responsible for original shipping costs and any return shipping fees. The remaining order value will be refunded once the package is received and inspected.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before they are processed for shipment. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it is subject to this Return Policy.
