Developed specifically for cross-country use, this is the lightweight two-piston option in the SLX range and the most affordable serious caliper Shimano make.

What it does well is control. Ceramic pistons resist heat transfer into the fluid, and the two-piece aluminum body gives stable, well-modulated braking rather than the grabby feel budget calipers often have. The banjo hose connection makes installation fast and simple, and it will fit an IS mount with an adapter if that is what your frame uses. Fitted with J04C metal pads. Note the hose is not included.
