Saint is Shimano's gravity brake, and it is what the world's best downhill riders reach for when the consequences of a brake fading are serious. The BR-M820 caliper is deliberately rigid, runs four ceramic pistons, and carries integrated Ice Technologies heat management so it keeps its power on long, steep descents instead of going soft.

The BL-M820 lever is built for control in rough terrain: a textured, anti-skid blade so a wet or muddy finger does not slip off, Servo Wave action for a fast, powerful bite, and both tool-free reach adjust and Free Stroke adjustment so you can dial exactly where the brake engages. One Way Bleeding makes servicing genuinely quick and clean, which matters on a brake that gets worked hard. Caliper 306 g, lever 103.2 g, supplied without a disc.
