The saddle is plastic with a vinyl coating and the post is aluminum, in the 25.4 mm diameter — check which size your frame's seat tube takes before ordering, since we also stock this in 22.2 mm. It is a common first upgrade on a kid's race bike, and a common replacement after the stock one gets bent.
