Hope built the Kid F12 as a proper race pedal scaled to a 90 x 90 mm footprint, so younger riders get real engineering rather than a cut-down adult part. At 312 g a pair it is light enough to make a genuine difference on a small bike, where rotating weight is felt much more.

The 14 mm profile keeps it relatively flat and stable underfoot, and the heat-treated chromoly axle is specified to handle bigger jumps without bending, which matters on a bike that will be cased more than once while a rider is learning. Three sealed annular bearings with a NORGLIDE ring give a smooth, long-lasting spin, and six interchangeable hollow screwed pins per side provide adjustable grip in a CNC-machined 2014-T6 alloy body. Four anodized finishes to match a build.
