The same wide 406 x 32 mm carbon rim, built this time with a brake track so it can be used with V-brakes. If your bike still runs rim brakes at the back, this is the version you need — the brakeless one has no surface for the pads.
The 25 mm internal width supports a 1.50 or 1.75 inch tire with a rounder profile, so the tire holds its shape through a turn and you can run a little less pressure for grip. The 3K weave keeps it stiff at 318 g, and angled nipple holes let the spokes enter the rim straighter for a wheel that stays true. It is tubeless ready through the Bead Lock System.
One important point: carbon rims need brake pads made specifically for carbon. Standard pads will damage the rim.
