The same Mini and Expert class 451 alloy rim, built this time with a machined brake track so it works with V-brakes. If the bike runs a rim brake at the back, this is the version you need — the brakeless one has no surface for the pads to grip.
The brake track is machined flat rather than left as-extruded, which is what gives consistent, predictable braking from the first squeeze instead of the grabby feel of an untouched sidewall. Underneath it is the same double walled 6061 T6 construction with optimized internal geometry, at 286 g. Angled nipple holes let the spokes meet the rim straighter, for a wheel that holds its tension through a season.
