The XLS-1 race wheelset in Excess's color finishes, blue and red, for riders matching a build rather than sticking to black and gray.
Mechanically it is identical to the standard XLS-1: 1446 g the pair, 6061-T6 double wall rims in two specific profiles, and sealed XLS hubs running a three-pawl system on a 24-tooth ratchet for quick pick-up out of the gate. Built for BMX racing, in competition or training.
The rear hub arrives ready for V-brake use and converts to disc with its CenterLock system, so the wheelset can follow you onto a disc frame later. Supplied without a cog, and the CenterLock to ISO converter is a separate purchase.
