A wide 32 mm carbon rim for 20 x 1.50" to 1.75" tires, and a disc-specific one. "No brake surface" is the important part of the name: with no rim braking surface to build in, Excess could shape the profile purely for strength and aerodynamics, which is why it comes in at 312 g.

The 3K carbon weave with an undercoat finish is what gives it the combination riders want from carbon: it resists the flex that makes an alloy rim wander in a rutted turn, without the weight. The 25 mm internal width supports a wider tire properly rather than pinching it, and angled nipple holes let the spoke enter the rim at a straighter line, which builds a more rigid and longer-lasting wheel.

It is tubeless ready via Excess's Bead Lock System, so with the right tape and valve you can run lower pressures for more grip. Note this rim is for disc brakes only.
