Excess EXE-3 ISO 406 36H Carbon Wheelset

The EXE-3 is Excess's disc-specific carbon race wheelset, and the ISO version has the rear hub set up with a direct disc rotor mount rather than CenterLock. If you are building a modern disc-only race bike, this is the wheel designed for it.

Rims are three-layer Toray T700 carbon, tubeless ready, 32 mm wide for the 406 size, and the hubs use the fast three-pawl five-tooth system on a 120-tooth ratchet. One detail worth knowing: the front hub can be converted from 3/8" to a 20 mm axle with an add-on kit, so the same wheelset can follow you onto a different fork.

These are disc brake only. Supplied without a cog, and the axle conversion kit is a separate purchase.
