That greatly minimizes twist, sharpens responsiveness, and provides a backstop to the "lifting" phenomenon so hard pedaling efforts actually reach the rear wheel. This model goes a step further with tougher chromium molybdenum steel, allowing greater variation in wall thickness to handle the higher loads of larger riders.
