At 20.8 mm thick the MG-6AL is genuinely ultra-flat, and that is what you buy it for. A thinner pedal puts your foot closer to the axle, which makes the bike feel more directly connected underneath you, and it leaves noticeably more ground clearance when you are pedalling through ruts and berms.

Wellgo forges the 6061 body and then CNC machines it, which keeps the weight down to 362 g a pair while retaining the strength a flat pedal needs. The specific concave profile cradles your foot, and interchangeable screwed pins add mechanical grip on top of that shape. Sealed ring bearings keep the spin smooth and the maintenance minimal. Available in four colors, so matching a build is easy.
