The Stay Strong For Life V6.0 is the newest generation of Stay Strong's aluminum BMX race frame. It is built on the race geometry Stay Strong has already proven on the track and updated for the way BMX is raced today, bringing together stiffness, clean lines and practical race-day features in a single purpose-built frame.

Butted aluminum tubing, Smooth Welding construction, internal cable routing, and dropout, bottom bracket and disc brake setups matched to each frame size carry modern race technology across the entire size range.

Size-Specific Race Construction
A BMX race frame faces very different demands depending on the rider's size, power and choice of components. Instead of using one construction for every size, the V6.0 uses one set of technical solutions for the Pro sizes and another for Expert XL and smaller frames.

Butted Aluminum Tubing and Smooth Welding
Every V6.0 frame is built from carefully chosen butted aluminum tubing, which keeps strength and stiffness where they are needed and removes material where it is not. The frame is finished with Stay Strong's signature Smooth Welding technique, which blends the weld areas into clean transitions between the tubes for a sleek, refined, aerodynamic look. Together with the internal brake cable routing, this gives the frame an exceptionally clean outline with fewer visible cables breaking up the lines of the bike.

Dropout System
Pro-size V6.0 frames use a 15mm rear dropout platform designed to create a strong, rigid connection between the frame and the rear wheel. Each Pro frame comes standard with 10mm chain tensioner inserts, so a conventional 10mm rear hub can be installed right out of the box. Riders who would rather run a 15mm thru-axle rear hub can convert the frame with the Stay Strong 15mm Axle Kit, sold separately.

Expert XL and smaller frames follow the direction more and more modern BMX race frames are taking, with a closed 10mm rear dropout made for conventional 10mm rear hubs. The closed design makes wheel installation secure and simple, which suits younger and lighter riders especially well.

Disc Brake Solution
On Pro sizes, the disc brake adapter is built into the chain tensioner insert, giving a clean, functional setup inside the dropout system. Because wheel adjustment and brake positioning are handled by the same system, the installation is solid and the rear triangle keeps its clean look. Pro-size frames are designed around a 140mm rear disc rotor.

Expert XL and smaller frames use a separate disc brake adapter, which is included with the frame, and are designed for a 120mm rear disc rotor.

Bottom Bracket
Pro-size frames use a modern T47 threaded bottom bracket. T47 pairs the benefits of an oversized bottom bracket with the simplicity and serviceability of threads: the large-diameter interface helps keep the bottom bracket area stiff for efficient power transfer, while the threaded design makes installation, removal and maintenance easy. Expert XL and smaller frames use the widely established Euro BSA threaded bottom bracket standard.

Clean Internal Cable Routing
To match the refined construction, the rear brake cable runs internally through the frame.
