The previous generation S-Phyre race shoe, and still a serious piece of equipment — Shimano called it their lightest ever structure when it launched, at outsole stiffness grade 11. Only two sizes are left, so this is very much a case of if it fits you, take it.

The talon-shaped metal spikes are rider-tunable: leave them out to save weight, or fit them when you need traction pushing a bike up a muddy bank. Dual low-profile BOA Li2 dials handle the closure with quick, precise micro-adjustment, and an adjustable powerzone lace guide holds the forefoot down where it belongs.

Sizes are European. If you are between sizes, Shimano's own footwear size guide is the best reference.
