Paired with the BL-M8200 lever it becomes a properly balanced system. Redesigned Servo Wave optimises the power curve and manages pad-to-rotor friction right through the lever pull, which is what makes the braking feel balanced rather than arriving all at once, and Shimano's new low-viscosity mineral oil keeps that power consistent across a much wider temperature range than the previous generation managed. If you want a lighter build instead, the same lever pairs with the two-piston M8200 caliper.
