Cruiser wheels carry more rotating weight than a 20 inch, so this is the size where carbon earns its keep. At 399 g it is light for a 507 mm rim, and the 3K weave gives the lateral stiffness to hold a line through a fast, rough turn. Angled nipple holes let each spoke meet the rim at a straighter angle, building a more rigid wheel that holds its tension.
One important point: carbon rims need brake pads made specifically for carbon. Standard pads will damage the rim.
