The 451 carbon race rim in its disc-brake form, drilled 36H for a stronger build. With no braking sidewalls to engineer in, this is the lightest version at 284 g.
The 3K carbon weave with undercoat finish delivers what riders move to carbon for: high lateral stiffness so the wheel does not twist under load in a rutted corner, at a weight alloy cannot reach. Angled nipple holes give each spoke a straighter entry into the rim, which builds a more rigid wheel that holds its tension.
Tubeless ready via Excess's Bead Lock System, so with the right tape and valve you can drop pressure for more grip. This rim has no braking surface and is for disc brakes only.
