The 32 hole 451 alloy rim in the V-brake profile, with a machined brake track built into the sidewall. If the bike runs a rim brake at the back, this is the version to order — the brakeless one gives the pads nothing to grip.
Machining the brake track flat is what makes the braking predictable from the first squeeze, instead of the grabby feel you get off a raw extruded sidewall. Underneath it is the same double walled 6061 T6 construction with optimized internal geometry, at 286 g, and angled nipple holes so each spoke meets the rim at a straighter angle for a wheel that holds its tension.
