Premium ultralight 7005 T6 tubing is hydroformed and muscle formed, triple and double butted, so the frame is light where it can be and reinforced where the loads actually go.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe big change on the 5.0 is the routing and the back end. Brake housing now runs internally from the head tube, through the down tube and bottom bracket, and exits at the chain stay on Expert XL and larger, which keeps the cockpit clean and protects the housing. The rear dropouts were completely restructured with CNC machining and built-in tensioners, giving far better clearance across a wide range of disc calipers and working with both post and flat mount systems.
